THE BEATLES REVOLVER MONO VINYL LP , 2nd press, VG+ XEX - 605-2, XEX 606-2
Mother/Stampers Side 1 = 1/GRT Side 2 = 6/GRH
Condition and details below:
Cover - front is great , super spine, clean, a little edgewear on opening; looks really good - the rear is solid, slight ringwear, clean for its age 'Dr Robert' credit - excellent overall... Inner - correct for this release, patents applied for white/cream , slightly creased and slight rip on bottom, but VG+.... Vinyl and labels - visually are VG+, some light surface marks on side 2, a few light scratches around centre hole - KT side 1 label, Dr Robert side 2 label.... Playback is really powerful, excellent sound with hardly any interference , just the odd pop and crackle - an excellent listen overall! VG+....
XEX - 605-2, XEX 606-2 Second pressing, 1966 until 1969. The Second “standard” pressing of “Revolver” has the same labels as the first pressing, but other matrix numbers: Side A: XEX 605-2; Side B: XEX 606-2 (or -3). This vinyl was pressed on the EMI on old machines press. IT’S NOT CBS PRESSING as many people think! THIS IS EMI PRESSING! To date only three Beatles albums have been found in this variation and they’re A Hard Day’s Night, Rubber Soul and Revolver. Variation B. This variation has Times New Roman font. This label exhibits a new layout design most notably with side one having both “Taxman” and “Eleanor Rigby” on the first line. Yet it also displays the incorrect Dr. Robert spelling on side 2. The credits pattern of “Song (Composer)-Lead Singer” has also now switched to “Song-Lead Singer (Composer)”. This probably appeared in late 1966. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS LP IS AN AGED, USED ITEM, AND WILL NOT LOOK OR PLAY LIKE NEW. I always try to give a fair overview of condition and a selection of photos, which give an indication of what you are buying/bidding on.
I always play test and give a fair appraisal of how the LP sounds on my system; this is always a subjective thing, and so may vary on others - If there are any flaws or jumps detected I will mention this and it will be reflected in the price/starting bid; NB: sometimes items may benefit from further cleaning etc.

My gradings are through the recognised Goldmine standard, and as accurate as I can make them (although please bear in mind it is still subjective and mistakes can occur ) :) - please let me know if there are any issues
