Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Revolver' 1969 NO SOLD IN UK mono Parlophone vinyl LP!
This particular pressing features the FINAL Yellow Parlophone labels on both sides, with the Sans Serif font! These RARE no 'Sold in U.K' labels were literally used for 3-4 months during the summer of 1969. EMI then moved onto the silver and black EMI/Parlophone boxed labels so very rare and HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE! What makes this EVEN MORE collectible is the fact that it is in MONO. Around 1969, mono was old hat and most people had upgraded to stereo systems so the demand for mono was much smaller, thus making them somewhat rarer! DO NOT MISS OUT!!
Artist: The Beatles
Title: Revolver
Catalogue Number: PMC 7009
Year: 1969
Number of Tracks: 14
Matrix Numbers: -2 -3
Mother Stampers: 522RTL 4RLT
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - it does have a few light marks and hairlines but nothing deep or feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more light scratches - shouldn't cause any issues.
Audio: I will play-test the album as soon as i get the chance but it should play fine with no major issues!
Inner Sleeve: The original EMI advertising inner sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD+ condition. It does have some creasing and discolouration but NO SPLITS! Houses the record extremely well!
Sleeve: The original MONO flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition! The front of the sleeve is nice and white with some creases towards the corners and light marks elsewhere. Still retains a wonderful gloss and shine! The rear o the sleeve is very clean with tight, clean flipbacks and a smooth, clean finish. All edges are intact - 100% intact with NO SPLITS! I can't see any writing or graffiti anywhere on the sleeve. The spine is 100% readable with a few small creases. Overall, a nice clean mono sleeve that will house the record superbly well and has a wonderful shine!
PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!!
As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a RARE NO SOLD IN UK MONO Beatles record that everyone should own!
