Vinyl- Very Good++
Vinyl has a nice sheen. There is one feelable scratch across tracks 1-3 on side 1. There is also a light mark on Track 1 Side 2. Otherwise just fine sleeve removal lines
Audio – Excellent
Audio is clean, bright and distortion free. There is some very light background noise and crackle, particularly to run in/run off and between tracks. Plays through the scratch with no problems, just a few light crackles. Again plays through the mark on Side 2 with just a little more crackle. A great listen through this iconic album
Labels– Excellent+
Labels are in beautiful condition, Just some spindle wear to both sides. Rim text starts "The Gramophone Co Ltd.." in upper case. Has the "Sold in the UK…" text across the centre.
Sleeve- Excellent
The Garrod & Lofthouse 'patents pending' sleeve is also in lovely condition. There is some feint rimwear to the front and minor storage wear to bottom corners. Spine is clean and fully readable, just a little age discolouration. The back cover is very clean. The external flipbacks showing a little dirt.
Inner Sleeve- Excellent+
The EMI LP advert inner sleeve has just a few very light creases and a little age discolouration. No edge splits or tears.
Record will be removed from sleeve for posting. I will always obtain proof of posting.
