This is an ORIGINAL and FIRST very earliest UK pressing of their REVOLVER album in MONO . Serious Beatles collectors will recognize the above Matrix marking to be the VERY FIRST pressing in particular the XEX 606- 1. These EARLIEST pressings contain an alternate version of the song Tomorrow Never Knows that contains a much more up front vocal to all the later pressings. This very earliest original flip back front laminated sleeve is also slightly different to all later pressing by way that the back of the LP jacket is a much darker shade of black to all that came later. The sleeve is in near EXCELLENT condition .There are no signs of ring ware. Its only faults are a small ding to the bottom right corner and a tiny laminate lift to the front near Ringo`s right eye.Apart from that its hard to fault . The spine is in EXCELLENT condition all writings are crystal clear. Side 1 and side 2 of the vinyl has a lot of hair lines when tilted towards the light and between tracks you can hear crackle and background noise but this record plays exceptionally well. There are no skips no jumps or sticking ANYWHERE on this record. The last track on side 2 has an unsightly mark visible when you double click the pictures but even that remarkably has no baring at all on the play or this record. It really does play well id grade the play of this LP 8 out of 10. The vinyl still has a good luster and sheen to it.The labels have spindle marks to both sides but they are still very clean and there is no unwanted handwriting anywhere. Double click the pictures and you can see that the label marked side 1 has the embossed K T tax code near the spindle hole these markings were missing from later pressings . All in all I would grade the sleeve as NEAR EXCELLENT and the best I could grade the LP due to the hairlines is VERY GOOD + but it plays better than that. So still a very desirable copy of a VERY FIRST VERY EARLIEST ENGLISH pressing of REVOLVER in MONO from the most successful band the world has ever seen.

All my records are housed in Mobile Fidelity Mastering Sleeves. This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition of the original inner sleeve . Bidders not in the UK items over £250 will require insurance this can change the postage costs dramatically. Items £500 + this can be expensive. For an item valued at £500 it is £59.65 tracked first class with insurance to the USA . For an item valued at £1000 it is £105 tracked global priority to Hong Kong. Please be aware of this while making your bids.
