Revised pressing with corrected side 2 matrix and "Doctor Robert" Label
PARLOPHONE PMC 7009 : MATRIX NOs XEX-605-2/XEX-606-2
The vinyl is in Very Good - Condition. Has a fair amount of marks, scuffs and a couple of scratches on both sides, the pictures give a general idea. It plays through without skipping and still sounds nice but there is surface noise that gets progressively louder towards the inner grooves. It does sound better if you sum your cartridge to mono, which I'd highly recommend.
The original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover is also in Very Good - condition. It has some yellowing, some corner bumps and wear to the laminate / openings but it's still holding up okay. Please note the tear on the bottom flap which has been shown in the photos. If not for this the cover would have graded higher. The spine is nicely readable.
The inner sleeve is a generic white one which has been taped at the bottom by a previous owner. I'm not sure if it's original to this LP or not.
This copy is not for the discriminating audiophile, but it still does play through nicely and would be a good starter mono copy for this famous album
