Originally Purchased by my dad in 1966, Sadly has passed away so selling his beloved records


1966 UK mono . Parlophone PMC 7009. 1st Pressing. Cover printed by Garrard & Lofthouse. Yellow/Black  Parlophone Label. 'Sold In UK' printed on label . 'Dr Robert' (early variation) song credit side 2.


 “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…etc” text. 


Also something to note on these original labels is that each song title was followed by song credits and then lead vocalist. First press has XEX  606-1 run out code on side 2.

CONDITION  Has been properly stored upright for long period.  Cover and sleeve in greatcondition with some edge/corner wear.

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.


EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.


VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.


GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from
