Description
THE BEATLES
REVOLVER
Rare - Original 1st press Vinyl LP, with Matrix codes on side 2 reading: XEX 606-1, which signifies the original mix of the track Tomorrow Never Knows.
Apparently, on being given and listening to one of the first pressed copies, John wasn’t happy with the mix of Tomorrow Never Knows so production was immediately halted and the presses were replaced with new versions. The perimeter text starts "The Gramophone Co Ltd" and it has the "Sold in the UK subject to…" text under the yellow Parlophone. Both the sleeve and the label have the track Doctor Robert on side 2 printed as Dr Robert. Another thing to note is that each track has its own line on the labels and after the title it lists the composer followed by the lead singer. This changed less than a year later when the tracks were listed one after the other, and after them it listed the lead singer first, then the composer.
Year of release - 1966
Made in UK
Parlophone Records - PMC 7009 Mono

Condition:
Vinyl/Labels : V. Good+
Some faint, non feelable hairlines, especially visible under harsh light. Sounds very good, occasional background on some quieter sections and a little in between tracks. Overall, a very enjoyable listen without major faults, music powerful and clear.
Laminated Flipback Sleeve/Original advertising inner : VG+
A few small, light creases to the laminate. All text, graphics and colours sharp and strong.
Important Information:
Postage & Packaging
Records are packaged safely using strong stiff cardboard and extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in the same condition as in my description. I also remove record from outer sleeve and original inner sleeves, to prevent seam splits. I am a record collector myself and understand the importance of safe packaging to ensure safe delivery.
