Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul 12" 1982 RARE mono Yellow and Black Parlophone LP vinyl press' in overall EXCELLENT condition.
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - some light hairlines and sleeve removal trails but nothing feelable or deep. Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+.
- Side 2 - same as Side 1 but with an EXCELLENT label!
Audio:
- In my opinion, the audio is EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! There is very very light background crackle in the background and in between tracks but I think it just needs a deep clean - I do not have the facilities to do so! It never gets in the way and it is never overbearing! The audio is VERY punchy and crisp! Lots of clarity with lovely original tonality! Lies very flat and plays very well!
The original EMI inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition with NO SPLITS, NO TEARS and NO WRITING!!
The original 1982 G&L mono sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD+! These 1982 sleeves were a little thinner than the 1965 originals but this one has remained in great condition! The front of the sleeve has some light creasing in places and some sticker residue to right - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!! The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with no writing, graffiti, rips or stains! There is some slight discolouration and some small light creases but nothing major. The spine is still readable, just a little bit worn but NO SPLITS! Elsewhere, some edgewear and extremely light ringwear to the front - nothing major!
