Cover: Garrod & Lofthouse 1st pressing laminated front (unlaminated rear) with triple flip-backs. Clear readable spine. No writings, doodles or seam splits. The top right corner of the rear cover has a small scuff on the flip-back. Because this cover has no messages/writings or any other ink blemishes it has to rate as Excellent - almost impossible to get a cover without some sort of writing on it.

 

Original EMI poly-lined inner sleeve: VG+. No writings or doodles. A bit grubby on one side. 

 

Labels: VG+. No writings, stickers or doodles.

 

Vinyl:  Play tested. Thick heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Looks VG(-) with feathering/hairlines. Plays much better than it looks at VG+ to Near Excellent with only light occasional crackle and the odd clicks/pops. A great listening experience -  a testimony to the quality of these 1st pressings that it plays so well after all these years.

      Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

      Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is little lessening in sound quality.

      Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

      Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

      Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

      Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

      Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
