Description
Very nice original 1966 first US mono pressing of the Beatles' Revolver LP on Capitol T-2576. This is the Scranton pressing, with the rainbow label listing "Lennon & McCartney" rather than their whole names, as on later pressings. The disc has some light sleeve spotting and a few mostly superficial marks, but it plays beautifully. There is a bit of very light and faint crackle between some songs, and occasional ticking, mainly on side two, also mostly just between songs. The music starts and you can't hear any imperfections. There are a couple of places where you might hear a tick or two in a quieter moment but only once or twice. Really this copy plays just beautifully. The cover has some wear: mainly a seam split across the entire bottom edge. Also a cutout hole at the top right, some light ringwear on the back, and some general edgewear here and there. Still a lovely cover with the beautiful Klaus Voorman artwork unmolested. See photos. All in all a very nice original mono copy.
