The Beatles “Revolver”

(1966 Parlophone LP)

RARE first UK Stereo pressing!

This is a superb UK first pressing of the great album “Revolver” by the Beatles on the Parlophone Label.

It is housed in a fully laminated flipback Garrod and lofthouse sleeve.

The catalogue number on this 1966 Parlophone LP is PCS 7009.

Matrix numbers are: YEX 605-1/YEX 606-1

The sleeve is the iconic, laminated Garrod & Lofthouse and is in EXCELLENT condition. There are no tears. There are a few slight wrinkles in the lamination. The fluted spine is fully legible.

This the original "Klaus O.W. Voormann 66" cover. Klaus Voormann was a German artist and musician who met The Beatles in a club in Hamburg during their early years and became a very close friend to the band. In 1965, Voormann was asked by John Lennon to create the cover for the "Revolver" album.

This pressing also has song #4 listed as "DR ROBERT" on the cover and on the label.  

This copy has the original plain white inner sleeve that has "Made in Great Britain" in the bottom right corner. The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with NO splits.

The record which is made out of thick quality wax is in VERY GOOD+ or better condition with only a few hairline scratches and scuffs.  

The labels are the traditional black & yellow Parlophone label which has "Made in Great Britain" on both sides. These labels also have the Gramophone CO. LTD. on both sides. Both are in excellent condition.

I purchased this U.K. lot from a wonderful lady who was born in the U.K. She actually purchased the LP's in the U.K. and brought them to the US with her over 35 years ago. One still has the U.K. price sticker. She shared some wonderful stories. Here they are for your consideration.

Our starting prices are always reasonable. Very rarely will you see a "Reserve Auction". Auctions run for seven days. We Accept PayPal ONLY! Payment must be made within 72 hours of auction close unless other arrangements are made before the auction ends. 

Packaging

LP's are removed from the cover and shipped outside of jacket in a inner paper sleeve. The cover and record are then placed in the plastic record protector. Finally, they are packed in the cardboard record mailer supported by cardboard stiffeners. The record is then packed well as for it not to move around during shipping!

Shipping and Insurance

I do not profit from shipping and handling. 

US Customers: Shipping cost is as follows: $4.00 Media Mail (2-9 days) or $8.00 Priority Mail (3-5 days).

US customers please be aware that Media Mail can take up to 12 business days to arrive (and on rare occasions even longer). In most cases it will arrive at your door within 5-6 days. I ship all items within 2 business days of receiving your payment. If you would like to receive your item more quickly, I recommend you select Priority Mail as your shipping option.

International Customers: Shipping methods are First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked.  

Combine from our other auctions to save on shipping. Add $1.00 to original shipping fee for each additional record shipped in the U.S. Add $2.00 to original shipping fee for each additional record shipped overseas.

All LP’s are guaranteed (unless otherwise stated in the auction). I stand behind the LP’s that I sell. You may return an LP in original condition for a full refund minus return shipping costs. You must notify us within 72 hours of receipt of the LP.
