Description
"Revolver"...Stereo...
Other Beatles stuff still to be listed..."Anthology 2",some other NM 2 box early 70's Re-issues and some DeAgostini issues (Still sealed in original packaging!) SO...Keep having a look!...
This 2 box re issue is getting hard to find 55 years after it's release...It is impossible to find in this condition!...
Issued by Parlophone in 1970...UK stereo pressing...PCS 7003 housed in a front laminated Garrod And Lofthouse sleeve with full flipbacks...Complete with sepia inner sleeve advertising other Parlophone albums....The top and bottom of the spine are crimped in an early seventies style!.
The labels have "Gramophone" rim text with "Made in Gt.Britain" underneath the lower EMI box...The Mothers and stampers are 1R and 1A....The labels and back sleeve read "Love You To"...
To the naked eye the record looks unplayed..NO scratches or scuffs and still with a fantastic sheen as well...Strong light reveals a couple of VERY light hairlines..
I normally play grade every record that I offer for sale, but in this case I am so confident that it has not been played (25 years on E bay and countless years before that dealing in the real world!),that I am leaving first play to one of you..
I have done an "Edge test" play to check that it's not warped or dished and it isn't!...(The run in grooves played dead silent and the first couple of bars of music were clean, crackle free and undistorted!)...It's a nice tight fit on the spindle as well!..
The labels are undamaged with untarnished and clearly legible text...The centre holes show no spindle trails...
The sleeve is in GREAT condition and has only a few minor defects as follows:...A light laminate crease along the top edge...Slight scuffing to the "Revolver" text on the front...Light corner bumps....A couple of light stress marks to the laminate along the spine...Just a hint of ringwear (both front and back)...Slight scuffing to the black back sleeve...The flipback edges are slightly grubby....The spine is square and unbroken with clearly legible text.
The inner sleeve has slight ringwear and shows slight age discolouring but remains unsplit...
A great copy!!!
I don't think that I have missed anything, but if you have any questions, just ask!!..
