THE BEATLES - Revolver
First Pressing with the following details;
1966 release
UK Parlophone Record Label; Mono PMC 7009
Sleeve is the original laminated flip back design with matt rear cover. Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd, London.
The yellow and black parlophone labels contain the text 'Gramophone Co Ltd around the rim and also 'Sold in the UK. The bottom of the label says 'Made in Great Britain.

Vinyl visually graded very good with audio very good plus.
Sleeve graded very good / plus at least
Comments;
The sleeve is in very good order indeed. The spine is solid throughout, free of scuffs with the title clearly legible. Top and bottom edges very clean and free of scuffing. The opening edge has some minor scuffing but nothing serious. There is a small crease at the bottom left hand corner. Otherwise there are no other issues and certainly no staining, splits, tears or writing. A great example of a 50 year old sleeve which has obviously been well maintained and cared for. I have possibly under graded if anything. Labels and spindles graded excellent plus.
Visually the vinyl displays a number of hairlines but no horrible marks or scratches. I have tried to highlight the extent of these in the photos provided. Any visual issues are certainly not highlighted when it comes to listening to the record.
When I fully play tested the record via a Rega Planar 3 turntable I was really pleased with the overall quality of the audio experience. This is a good example where the actual audio performance belies the visual condition and confirms how well these pressings were made.
During the play test there was at worst some evidence of light and soft static during the 'run ins' and between tracks.There was also an undertone of light static when listening to the record in places. However, there were no horrible pops, clicks, jumps or skips. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the whole record and any static that was apparent did little to dampen this.
I accept record grading is very subjective but I will never list records that do not provide a good audio experience and I have no hesitation in grading the record as very good / plus.
