Longines Orange Label Record Club
ST 8-2576
Super Rare Longines record club pressing on the harder to find Orange label club pressing.
Orange label has "Manufactured by Longines Symphonette"
on the left of the spindle hole and also the perimeter print on both sides.
In November, 1972, Capitol changed their label style to an "all orange" label. So too did the record club.
This was the only Beatles title distributed by Longines Symphonette.
Cover has the three white diagonal stripes on the left upper corner, the ST-8-2576 number on the spine and on the back and the number '16' in a small white square on the back bottom right under the RIAA logo.
Longines (Longines-Wittnauer Company) took over the Club in 1968, Capitol quit supplying albums to the club.
Longines also altered the record number of the LPs by adding the number "8" to the prefix.
By the time Longines began pressing Capitol Beatles albums in 1968, Mono had phased out.
There are no mono Longines pressings of this album.
There will always be a premium interest by Collectors for this very RARE RECORD CLUB Longines pressings.

Light surface noise at the start of each side but plays great.

This cover unfortunately is far from perfect, however as noted by the three white diagonal stripes on the left upper corner, the ST-8-2576 number on the spine and on the back and the number '16' in a small white square on the back bottom right under the RIAA logo This is the original and hard to find record club edition

Overall rating I would say the vinyl itself plays well but the jacket obviously has some issues, this is a great oportunity to pick up a very rare pressing a great Beatles album.
