Description
ATTENTION international bidders!
Please understand that altering the final price of online purchases to avoid customs fees is illegal. Every order is processed digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item. I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so. RECORD packaging & shipping!
I provide ample padding in each package to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Goldmine Standard Grading:
SS / NM- / VG++ / VG+ / VG / G+ / G / P
I grade very conservatively, please see my grading scale below the record description for more details.
Up for your consideration is a early, if not first mono pressing of The Beatles' "Revolver" album on the UK Parlophone label from 1966.
Matrix numbers are:
XEX 605-2 / XEX 606-3
Please see the details below for more concerning the record's condition below:
Vinyl: VG to VG+
I grade conservatively and cleaned this record thoroughly on my VPI machine. The record has no skips, I have listened to both sides completely. Though the sound is enjoyable, there is light background noise during playback with a random yet a seldom pop or click along the way. The vinyl has a nice shine to it, though it does have light scuffs and light marks, one is detectable to the touch but doesn't inhibit playback. The clip below is what can be expected and is taken direct from the record.
The actual, unedited sound files below are provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

Label: VG to VG++
The labels look as pictured, while one side looks great the other has a name written across the yellow print.
Sleeve: VG to VG+
The inner sleeve is rather clean and seems to be the original. There is a random area of marks on one side. A 4inch split exists at bottom seam at the center. Side seams are fine.
Cover: VG to VG+
The cover has no splits. There is general wear to the cover, albeit light in most locations. There is an area on the front cover - at the right side near the top corner where it appears writing was removed (the lighter shade are denotes this, on John's cheek). There are some light print chips at points of contact but the cover is solid structurally. Spine has some wear. The back shows light general wear. A mark can be seen at the top right corner. The pictures show the cover well...
General Comments:
This record is an enjoyable listen. I pride myself in offering very clean records, while this one isn't in top condition, I feel it worthy of listing for sale due to its relative rarity. It would definitely make a great placeholder until a mint copy comes along. I try to be conservative when grading, I hope my description was sufficient.
Thanks for looking!

Goldmine Grading Details
SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description
NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of absolutely perfect
acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent
VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear
VG+ = Very Good Plus
a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover
VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feelable marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
