This is the UK Original press of 'Revolver' by The Beatles. This original press has 'The Gramophone Company' and 'Sold In UK' label text. It is complete with the original inner sleeve and the earliest Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending,' pinched spine, Mono laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. It has a superb bright gloss with a number of light wispy marks on both sides and a couple of light needle marks. When played the sound is bold and vibrant. There is some light noise and a couple of clicks but the sound is bold and can still be enjoyed throughout.
The Yellow and Black Parlophone label is completely clean, the black is bold, the silver text is sharp and the yellow is bright. There is just slight spindle wear. There is the KT Tax code on Side 2.
The original and earliest Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending' flipback laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The white is extremely bright and the black is solid. The back has only the slightest wear and a small white mark in the corner. The flipbacks are complete and sealed. There are a couple of laminate creases and slight corner wear. The whole cover is very solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text on a bright background.
