- COMMENTS:-Ultra rare 1966 UK Parlophone label withdrawn first pressing 14-track mono vinyl LP with 'Sold in U.K.' and 'Gramophone Co' label credits & XEX 606-1 matrix on Side 2 indicating the original 'Mix 11' of Tomorrow Never Knows, only EVER on THIS pressing, front laminated flipback picture sleeve Matrices:- XEX 605-2 XEX 606-1. The sleeve is in remarkable shape for an almost 55-year-olds howing only nominal wear. The vinyl itself has clearly been well played and plays through with crackles here and there but still produces a bright, clean sound. There are a couple of skips on the opening track on side 1 (Taxman) but nowhere else. A respectable copy really.
- TRACKLISTING:-AS ABOVE
All my items are graded according to the Record Collector’s grading system:
M (Mint): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and the extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX (Excellent): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG (Very Good): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
G (Good): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
F (Fair): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
