Description
Beau copy of the original 1965 first pressing of the Beatles’ Rubber Soul LP on Capitol ST-2442. Original version with the rainbow labels and the “full Dimensional Stereo” strip at the top superimposed on the green background. True LA first pressing. The disc is just gorgeous and plays flawlessly. There are some superficial wispy scuffs that can be seen under light but they are entirely superficial and don’t affect the perfect play at all. The cover is quite nice as well, with only minor wear. There is a light crease at the right just next to Ringo’s cheek, and a very tiny bit of barely noticeable corner wear at the two right corners. Just a touch of wear along the open edge there… but really it is quite beautiful with no further issues. No seam splits or dinged corners or markings or ringwear. Just a beautifully crisp copy. Comes with the 1965 Capitol inner sleeve as well. A beautiful original, hard to beat.
