This is the 2nd Mono press of ‘Rubber Soul' by The Beatles. The labels are Yellow & Black, with the ‘Gramophone Co Ltd’ and ’Sold In UK’ label text. It has the KT tax code on the Side 2 label. The record is complete with the laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Patents pending mono sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss, the grooves have their original jet black finish and every track gleams. There is just one light mark on Side 2 and a light mark at the end of Side 1. The sound is exceptionally rich, with superb clarity and audio separation throughout. There is just a little click on the mark on Side1. It still has the wonderful early heavy vinyl vibrant, complete sound. The label is exceptionally bright with solid black, bright yellow and only the very slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. The front is absolutely stunning. The colours are bold, the laminate has a stunning bright mirrored shine and the picture is extremely clear. The back of the sleeve has a couple of small marks but it is still superb. Very bright, the flipbacks are sealed and only the very slightest discolouration. It is exceptionally bright and the text is clear and sharp. The spine is like new, very firm with clear black text on a clean white background.
