Description
Rubber Soul is perhaps one of the earliest released LP's by The Beatles in which the majority of the songs became hits and received acclaims and hours of air time on all the local radio stations. In the 60's radio air play was everything. It was the only way that youth had to hear the newest tunes, besides going to live performances. I know. I was there. Norwegian Wood was one of my favorites back then and still is. Nowhere Man is my second favorite on this album. Michelle comes in third for me. You Won't See Me, Girl, and I'm Looking Through You were also hits in that time. I don't believe there is a single track on the album that doesn't have what it takes to be a hit. I am sure you will love this album as much as I do. Unfortunately my first copy was stolen out of my apartment back in 1970. I do not even recall where I bought this pressing but never have played it myself. I am in the process of thinning out my collection. I am sure it will give you hours of listening pleasure or just the honor of showing it to your friends. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
