This is an excellent copy of the first-pressing issue of the RARE misprint label, on which Capitol neglected to list running times on cuts one and two (“Long Tall Sally” and “I Call Your Name”) on side two of the album. Capitol corrected the mistake on later issues. It is the ORIGINAL 1964 Capitol release, not ‘new,’ ‘remastered,’ ‘reissued,’ Parlophone, Apple, etc. According to Jerry Osborne’s latest price guide, the near-mint value of this album is from $700-$800, so this is an excellent buy for someone looking for this LP.

RECORD GRADING (USING GOLDMINE STANDARDS):
VINYL CONDITION: VG+ or E (Very Good Plus or Excellent), with a bright, shiny surface and very few light superficial surface marks that do not affect sound quality. Labels are clean and unmarked, with NO writing, name labels, misshapen hole, etc. I’ve listened to the entire record using headphones, and the record sounds very clean, with no skips and virtually no surface noise.
COVER CONDITION: VG+ or E (Very Good Plus or Excellent), with almost no scuffing and NO writing, name labels, tape, creases, folds, wrinkles, puckers, stains, ring wear, split seams, or promo holes or cuts. There is a very small (less than ½”) tear at the bottom left and a very slight ding at the upper right corner (both very minor; see picture). This record cover has been stored in a polypropylene over-sleeve for over 40 years (which has helped to inhibit yellowing) and is in great condition.
SLEEVE: Comes with the original Capitol blue inner sleeve, which is in very good condition.
This is a very nice item and very collectible for any fan of the Beatles!
