FRONT

Just a few light marks visible on the white areas. There is slight creasing at at top left corner, and some light scuffing at the bottom left corner.

BACK

This is mainly white, and shows some friction marks where the record has been standing next to other records. The cover design is by Ringo and his son Zak.

THE RECORD

THIS A DOUBLE SIDED DISC

COSMETICALLY EXCELLENT

HAS ONLY A NICK AT THE OUTER EDGE

The actual tracks have no scratches, marks or flaws. Despite this, a crackle is detectable at the intro and exit on each side. This can also be heard here and there during the rest of the disc. I am at a loss to understand this, in view of the perfect appearance of the tracks. I am wondering whether it was a fault in the production. None of my other flexis have this, and they have all been kept under the same conditions.

CONTENT

SIDE 1

The record begins with John and Yoko trudging through snow. – Yoko is being ‘interviewed’ by John. There then comes a song – ‘Happy Christmas’ sung by John and Yoko. Ringo then tones in with his message.

SIDE 2

This starts with some baby sounds from John and Yoko's son Sean. Next comes George’s message to the fans. Ringo then sings a song – Good Evening to you Gentlemen’. This is followed by John and Yoko chatting in the garden. Next, Paul comes in with his song – ‘This is to wish you a merry merry Christmas’. This has a mean guitar backing by Paul, too! Paul then gives his message to the fans.

This was the last fan club Christmas record made by the Beatles!! A must for any collector!
