Description

Here we have a nice copy of Sgt Pepper by The Beatles. It is incredibly 50 years since the album was first release and as far as I can tell this is a stereo first press. The gatefold sleeve which has the flap over inner sleeves has two flaws,a three inch wear split in the middle of the bottom front edge and some slight slight crushing in the botto left hand corner of the back cover, otherwise it is in nice condition. The red/white inner has some light wear down the right and left hand edges in some places but otherwise is in excellent condition. The cut out has never been used at all, just left in the sleeve so is in as new condition. The vinyl has been played maybe three or four times over the years and has been handled carefully so only has a very small number of hairline paper type marks which you have to look at really close up to see.The album has the Gramophone Company and Sold In The UK text and the matrix numbers are :- YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1.
