THIS IS A MUCH CHERISHED ITEM FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION...
ITEM SPECIFICS:
- Rare UK 1st Press MONO Release 1967
- Laminated Inner Flipback ‘Garrod & Lofthouse’ Sleeve
- Original Red / White Inner Sleeve
- With Unused Peter Blake Cutout Sheet
- Yellow Black Labels with ‘Gramophone Co Ltd’ round the rim and ‘Sold in UK’ text
- Parlophone – PMC 7027
- XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1 Matrix Numbers

DETAILED CONDITION:
VINYL - a number of light surface marks…nothing deep and plays nicely with just light ‘crackle’ here and there and the occasional click. This may in fact be a dust pop, which may disappear with cleaning as this album has been stored for over 20 years.. No jumps or distortion:
VISUAL VG+ / AUDIO EX-
LABELS: light spidering at the centre: EX
SLEEVE: VG+ some wear to corners and at the centre of the top and bottom edges. Laminate tight, spine lettering clear. A realy lovely cover considering it's 45 years old!!!
CUT-OUT: EX+ superb... as new
INNER SLEEVE: VG seam splits on all edges and some creasing along opening. Otherwise nice and clean.
I use RC gradings, although I tend to undergrade, so that the buyer is fully satisfied -I only use the term 'Mint' if an item is sealed, So many of my EX+ grades might be considered 'Mint' by many . I also do not believe there is much point in just putting EX/EX or VG+/EX as this can vary hugely between sellers, so I try to put in as detailed description as I can

Record Collecters Guide Grading System
Mint : Unplayed
Excellent: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
