Great playback. There is some feint low level background, but it's mainly only during track breaks (not that there are many of them!) that you notice it. Please be aware that it's there though. More specifically, there's a little on both run-ins, and some small tics between 'Rita' and 'Good Morning', and right at the end of side two, but apart from that it's a great mono playback. For the majority of the time, when the track's playing, the music is all that you hear.
Vinyl has a fair amount of feint storage wear and sleeve removals, but they're just light surface, and whilst graded visually at a strict VG, it plays well above it's visual grade at an Ex grade.
I was recently lucky to have a tour of Abbey Road's Studio 2 by the Beatles legendary engineer Ken Scott, and he stated firmly that the mono versions are the best option to go for, and if he had a choice, these would be the versions that he'd personally choose to play.

LP's are packed in LP mailers with stiffeners. Record is shipped outside of the sleeve to avoid ringwear and seam splits.
I've just realised that of course I've typed the matrix number wrong in the main description - it's the first press -1/-1 NOT -11/-1. I've also just listened to the LP again, and if anything I've underestimated the playback of the LP. It's fantastic, and whilst visually as I said it's a clean VG, the playback is more EX+, really good.
