THE BEATLES: “SGT PEPPER" WIDE SPINE MONO; CUT OUTS/RED & WHITE INNER Audio VG+.
PLAY TESTED APRIL 23RD. Audio VG+/Ex.
This is the all too rare first press wide spine mono edition, complete with original cut-outs and original ‘patents applied for’ red and white ‘fool’ inner sleeve.
Side 1:

Label:
Bright and clean, with barely a spindle mark to be seen.
KT Tax Code.
Audio:
The audio experience is minimum VG+/perhaps excellent. Yes, there’s a few clicks and pops, but nothing that in anyway spoils the listening experience, and with absolutely no skips/jumps or sticks.
Visually.
The vinyl retains a nice bright sheen, though with some faint hairlines/marks.

Again, with a nice sheen, and some faint hairlines marks etc.
Cut-Outs.
Excellent/Near Mint condition.
Inner ‘Fool’ sleeve.
Excellent. Other than some minor creasing, it’s superb. No rips/tares/seem splits.
Wide Spine G/F laminate sleeve.
The actual spine is strong, and clearly legible, with a little bit of creasing to the last two inches near the bottom.
The rest of the sleeve is also excellent, with just some very very minor edge ware, and a little creasing to the rear panel near the spine.
So in short, a top quality, near excellent all round item. Rarely seen one better, and doubtful if a better one will come up on eBay again any time soon.
I tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, and maintain a 100% positive feedback rating, largely for records, most of which are Beatles. Thus, bid with confidence.
