THE BEATLES. SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND. 1ST PRESS MONO. PMC 7027. XEX 637-1/XEX 638-1 MATRIX. "SOLD IN UK" TEXT ON LABEL. LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER WITH FLIPBACKS TO CENTRE SPREAD. GRADES EXCELLENT.
From time to time I help a local hospice sell some of its donated LPs. Just in is a batch of Beatles LPs which I have cleaned and playgraded. My listening equipment is a highly revealing Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable, pre/power amplification and Castle speakers.
Played on my system, this LP grades Excellent with some very minor background noise between tracks and to quiet parts, plus some soft ticks to the beginning of 'day in a Life'. The laminated gatefold cover is in very good condition, although there is splitting and rubbing to the text on the spine (see photo). It has its original cut-out card which is still intact - although it has some light staining to the bottom. It also has its original red/white inner sleeve which has a couple of minor tears - these inners are very fragile and are usually very badly damaged or missing altogether.
I ship overseas and I package above and beyond the call of duty.
