Description
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 1967 Promo Copy
This is one of the rarest copies, which Capitol used for promotional purposes by shipping them to radio stations. Unlike regular covers, these promotional covers have a perforated promo "F R E E" machine stamp on the front panel. Beautiful cover with a light shelf wear. That's about it. The cover in Excellent condition and doesn't have any writing or splits, except for a small one at the center of the spine. The gatefold interior is in very nice condition. The album features an original red and white custom Capitol inner sleeve along with a green cut-outs insert gimmick in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is somewhere between Very Good Plus and Excellent with just a few light hairlines. The labels on this record are gorgeous as they don't have any spindle marks and are in Near Mint Minus condition. The vinyl was pressed at the Scranton, PA pressing plant as it contains the IAM symbol in the dead wax.
