Description
Here we have a nice stereo copy of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles from 1967.It has a G&L sleeve,the red and white inner and the cut out insert so is complete.The laminated gatefold sleeve is in very nice condition with only three or four minor pinch creases (less than quarter of an inch) coming off the spine edge.The cut out insert and red and white inner are in even better condition with no creasing or age discolouration.The record belonged to my uncle who says he only played it around half a dozen times since purchase in 1967.He always hand his vinyl carefully and played his records on a single play deck (he always has had a good hi-fi even in the sixties).Looking at the vinyl,I can only see one light mark across Lucy In The Sky on side one and also one light mark across Good Morning Good Morning/Sgt Peppers (reprise) on side two that look like possible scratches.All other marks on thevinyl are of the "feathering" type caused by taking the record out of its sleeve.The record plays through with minimal background noise.The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1.
