Description
June 1967 MONO first pressing of The Beatles Sgt Peppers vinyl LP catalogue reference: PMC 7027. UK pressing on the yellow and black (made in the UK) Parlophone label. Garrod & Lofthouse laminated gatefold cover (flipback glue-tabs on inner spread). The 'KT' purchase tax code is clearly visible in the centre near the spindle hole of the side 1 label.
Matrix (stamped) Side 1: XEX 637 -1 Mother/Stampers hard to read but looks like (1 GPT) Matrix (stamped) Side 2: XEX 638 -1 Mother/Stampers hard to read but looks like (1(?) GRO) although not sure.
Condition
There is some scuffing on corners/edges of the album cover but otherwise good condition with no writing or sticker damage, although the spine has some storage damage making it virtually unreadable (see photo). Vinyl is excellent with no clearly visible marks or scratches, other than a few minor hairlines which do not affect playing quality.
Does NOT have the original flame red/white inner sleeve, just a plain replacement sleeve. Also the original full colour single sided "cut-outs" card insert is included but 3 of the 5 cut outs (badges and stripes) have been removed from the card so are missing - please see photo.
Will be shipped inside a poly outer within a UKPS dedicated LP mailer with double carding for strength and marked fragile handle with care.
