THE BEATLES SGT. PEPPER'S PMC 7027. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 637-1; Side 2: XEX 638-1.
RECORD/SLEEVE:
The heavy slab of original vinyl is in super condition, still holding a fantastic gloss and with only the odd light hairline visible. Under strong light there some very light hairlines and sleeve removal lines but still a nice clean copy. The label looks absolutely super top. It plays with slight crackle but overall it's very clean sounding and really punches out with that mono blast. It grades as EX!
The sleeve has a light wear to corners etc and has light creases but not many at all. In fact the laminate has held really well, with the front and back looking great. Inside is even better, plus it makes that crackling sound when you open the gatefold. There is some laminate lifting on the spine but overall a very nice copy. Grades as VG+
