THE GATEFOLD COVER IS IN EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION AND IS STILL NICE AND BRIGHT WITH NO DAMAGE. IT DOES HAVE SOME SLIGHT CORNER SCUFFING AND SLIGHT LAMINATE CREASING BUT AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS IT IS SUPERB SHAPE AND EVEN THE SPINE REMAINS IN GREAT SHAPE AS ALOT OF THESE HAVE MAJOR DAMAGE.
BOTH LABELS ARE EXCELLENT AND SHOW THAT THIS HASN'T BEEN PLAYED THAT OFTEN AS THERE IS HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR.
THE VINYL ON FIRST INSPECTION LOOKS IN SUPERB GLOSSY CONDITION BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS A SMALL SLIGHT FEELABLE SCRATCH THAT CREATES 4 OR 5 LIGHT CLICKS ON THE TRACK WITHIN YOU WITHOUT YOU.I DIDN'T NOTICE THE MARK BEFORE I PLAYED IT AS IT IS VERY SMALL.THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OTHER SMALL NON FEELABLE LINES BUT IT STILL REMAINS A BEAUTIFUL LOOKING VINYL.
THE RED AND WHITE INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO IN GREAT SOLID SHAPE WITH NO SPLITS, TEARS OR MAJOR CREASING. THERE IS SOME SLIGHT DISCOLOURING OF THE OPENING EDGE
THE CUT OUT INNER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE.
A GREAT COPY OF A BEATLES MUST HAVE AND MORE SOUGHT AFTER THAN THE STEREO VERSION AS THE BEATLES THEMSELVES WORKED ON THE MIXES OF THIS MONO RELEASE BUT NOT ON THE STEREO VERSION.
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
