MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB RECORDS # MFQR 1-100  

Still sealed original MFSL Box from the hard to find and very limited UHQR (Ultra High Quality Record) series by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Mobile Fidelity only released a total of eight UHQR titles on LP. The UHQR series was the highest quality MFSL version of this Beatles album. Only 5000 copies were produced and they were pressed by the JVC Company on 200 gram Super Vinyl. This is truly an audiophile Holy Grail item- it gets no better than this!  

Overall the shrink wrap plastic is well preserved, however the shrink wrap does have a tear in the plastic's seam on part of the right edge. The previous owner neatly repaired part of the torn shrink wrap with two separate pieces of clear tape, although there is still an exposed area with torn shrink wrap measuring about 5 inches near the top right edge. The exposed outside of the box does not show any surface wear in this area. There is a much smaller and less noticeable tape repair on a shrink wrap plastic seam in the top left area of the spine, measuring about 1 inch, with nothing underneath exposed. The shrink wrap plastic has one other small tear on the back top edge, and a tiny ding on the back top edge of the box in this area, plus a very small tear in the shrink wrap plastic on the front top edge with no box marking on the exposed area in this spot. The shrink wrap plastic has a small amount of light wear on the outside but has done a great job overall of protecting the outer box. The record inside of course is new and unplayed.

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.

With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting. Upon request, we will give your sealed LP's the same treatment.

All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.
