Same as usual UK 1st pressing except for the covers spine is wider than usual which allows a small portion of front and rear cover pictures to be seen on the spine. Known as "Wide Spine" and issues.
1st UK MONO pressing. Black and yellow Parlophone label with ''The Gramophone Co.'' in the perimeter and ''Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions'' below logo.
Gatefold laminated sleeve with flipback at inner spread top. Contains a single-sided card insert (full-color images for cut-out) and an un-punched white liner overprinted with red half-tone 'psychedelic' design.
A fantastic clean original UK MONO of Sgt. Pepper's. The record (PMC 7027) is in sharp Ex condition showing a couple of light and minor surface marks/scuffs, these not at all heavier feelable scratches. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 637-1 6 AAR & XEX 638-1 2 DD. Complete with excellent condition original cut-out and red inner. The striking wide spine original mono sleeve is in brilliant Ex+ condition showing some slight edgewear to this extremely well kept copy.
