THE BEATLES: The Beatles' Story (Capitol TBO 2222, mono)

• Condition : Cover is NM. Vinyl is NM, there are a couple light pressure marks / sleeve scuffs from years of storage but this looks like it was played maybe once. Thick heavy old-style shrinkwrap is intact with one big breathe hole (about 1.5"!) right in the center on back. This shrinkwrap could have been applied by a distributor or retail chain store, I suppose. Has both blue Capitol innersleeves with 12 TC-1 numbering, these are early and do not show any Beatles LP's. NOTE: this is a SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION!
• Description : Very rare clean mono original. 1/4 and 2/3 side sequences, interestingly the Side 1 / Side 4 LP has "Deep Groove" labels, this appears to be an RCA pressing per Spizer's book, but the Side 2 / Side 3 LP has "flat" labels and looks to be a Decca pressing (no Capitol plant codes in dead wax). Not sure if this is unusual for this title or not, I've only seen one or two other clean mono copies in 30+ years!

• Records are shipped in a cardboard record mailer with sufficient padding, and the disc is removed from the jacket to prevent seamsplits.
