Description
Offered for sale is a rare 7" vinyl single by The Beatles. 'I Should Have Known Better / You Really Gotta Hold On Me' was released as a single in Sweden in 1964, on the Parlophone label (though the labels have the Odeon logo on them), with the catalogue number SD 5971. It comes complete with its orange picture sleeve.
The record is in fairly good condition, especially considering its age. There are a few light surface marks and scratches - including one quite deep one on the B-side, but nothing too major and it plays through fine on both sides. There are some small initials in pencil on the B-side, but this is very small - please see the pictures.
The original picture sleeve is in ok condition given its age. Unfortunately, the top seam has separated along about 5 inches from the opening edge, and there is a crease running diagonally down from it back to the opening edge - please see the pictures. There is a matching crease on the rear, but apart from this it is actually quite nice, with no other splits and no signs of ringwear.
All in all, this is a fairly good example of this record in an acceptable sleeve, that has plenty of life left in it for a Beatles collector or fan.
