The Beatles released their "Second Album" in April 1964 on Capitol Records. It was actually their third album because Vee-Jay Records released "Introducing.... The Beatles" three months earlier. Critics consider it their first great album and it hit No. 1 the week after its release ending "Meet The Beatles" eleven week run at the top.

This copy of (ST-2080) is from a 1983 repressing and is in excellent condition. The cover shows only the slightest wear and is Near-Mint for a 38-year-old album. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays perfectly and is easily VG+ which is as high as I rate vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Capitol and this copy was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Side One dead wax is etched 0 ST-1-2080-J23 #4 and stamped —??? MASTERED BY CAPITOL.

This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture. st picture.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
