Label: Parlophone (PMC 7027)
Matrix Codes: XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1 (Original commercial cut from the 1967 analog tapes)
Side 1 Stampers: MMH 30

An honest, fully play-tested "player's copy" of an absolute masterpiece. This is a genuine 1968 UK Mono 2nd pressing featuring the legendary heavy, punchy mix preferred by the band themselves.
NO ‘DAY IN THE LIFE’ to side 2 label.
Only a very small number of labels with this error exist. (See photo for more information)
EXTRA DOT to side 1 label.
‘SOLD IN.U.K.’, rather than ‘SOLD IN U.K.’
Again, a very small number of this variant exist, especially paired with no ‘Day In The Life’ on side 2 label.
💿 VINYL CONDITION: Very Good (VG)
* The vinyl retains a good factory gloss across both sides with visible superficial hairlines and paper scuffs under close light.
* IMPORTANT PLAY-TEST NOTE: There is a prominent visible mark on the playing surface (clearly highlighted in the close-up photos). This has been strictly play-tested on a quality turntable setup: it does NOT cause any skips, jumps, or loud pops. It only produces a very slight, mild vintage background crackle as it passes over. Audio VG+
* Centre labels are beautifully clean with crisp yellow Parlophone text with mild spindle wear. Plays through with incredible mono power and depth.
SLEEVE: VG
Obvious signs of wear, to the fully laminated gatefold sleeve.
Creasing to panels.
Some sign of tape repair to opening.
Corner bumps/edgewear.
Inner panels are very clean, though with a little staining to top corners of flipbacks.
Spine is VG+, easily legible, with mild wear.
PETER BLAKE CUT-OUT. EXCELLENT.
No rips or tears. Some light handling wear, and mild staining to left corner region.
ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE EMI INNER. VG+
(PATENT APPLIED FOR).
Some feathering to opening, and small rips/tears. Seam split to bottom edge.
OVERALL CONDITION OF ITEM: VG+
