Beautiful copy of the original 1967 first mono pressing of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band LP on Parlophone PMC-7027. Incudes the cutout insert and the wonderful swirled inner sleeve designed by the Fool. The disc has some very light scuffs but plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. There are some surface marks but they don't affect the play. I have listened to the whole thing twice and it sounds just fantastic. One very light tick near the beginning of Within You Without You, and maybe extremely faint background noise but barely, and only for the very beginning. Not even worth mentioning. Maybe one or two light crackles during the piano chord fade-out, but barely that either. Really this copy plays just gorgeously, crystal clear like a bell. Just wonderful. The cover is the rarer wide spine version, and also really beautiful, with only very slight ringwear, and some minor edgewear at the open edge. A small crease in the lamination next to The Rolling Stones doll, but not bad at all. The lamination is not torn or lifting anywhere. The inner and insert are immaculate. The insert is the original darker green printing, which is quite rare. A lovely original copy, hard to beat.
