Description
On offer an average copy of the Sgt Pepper album, on the 1st issue black and yellow Parlophone label. Its the mono edition which is the much superior mix in my opinion. The sleeve is VG minus, no major creasing overall but there are several horizontal spine creases. On the back there is a faint sticker mark and a coupe of minor scores. Spine writing almost fully legible. The record is Good to VG, mostly light sleeve removal evidence though there are a couple of surface lines on side A. There is a 'pit' on side A (pressing flaw?) which causes about 40 seconds of 'bumps' on 'She's Leaving Home' but on my Technics it doesn't sound horrendous by any means. Played throughout the playback overall is alright, there is surface noise but still an enjoyable listen. Labels are clean. The red inner is there but has two side splits and is overall a bit grubby with a few small stains. Insert is also present but moustache has been cut out! Matrix numbers both end in '1'.
Overall a filler copy but still a decent listen
