This is to certify that the record of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles has been duly signed
on the cover by Sir Peter Blake for the sole purpose of raising funds for Oxfam Music and Audio in Ealing,
the proceeds of which will go towards charitable work that Oxfam does."

Sir Peter Blake is one of the leading lights of the pop art movement of the 1960s.
His iconic design for the cover of the Beatles' album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ensured he transcended the art world.
Although it was one of his most famous pieces, he was paid just £200 for the sleeve, receiving no royalties from the album's phenomenal success.
Born in Dartford, Kent, Sir Peter, studied at Gravesend School of Art before being accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Art in London,
he graduated in 1956.
Andy Warhol is often cited as the founder of pop art but in fact Sir Peter created his Captain Webb Matchbox
before Warhol's soup tin paintings used consumer products as art.

CONDITION: The vinyl condition on side 1 is in near
mint condition, there is a couple of faint hairline surface marks, one is ½
cm long and the other one is ¼ cm. These are only hard to see surface
marks and do not affect play in any way. The vinyl condition on side 2 is
in near mint condition, there is two faint hairline surface marks, around
1cm long, again these do not affect play in any way. Record plays fine.
Label on side 1 is in mint condition, label on side 2 is in near mint
condition, some faint marks around the spindle hole.
Gatefold Picture cover is in excellent plus condition. the laminate is in
excellent condition, the front cover laminate has a small crease of around
one inch long and then there is a few other very small creases on the
edges of the cover, these are really small. Laminate on the back cover
has a few creases on the edges of the cover. Spine is solid with no tears or rips.
Fool Inner Sleeve has a small water stain on one of the corners, other than that it is in
excellent condition. Cut-out insert is in mint condition.
