THE BEATLES - Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band - 1967 MONO LP Parlophone PMC 7027 Matrix Nos. Side 1: XEX 637 - 1 GDT 3. Side 2: XEX 638 - 1 0T 2
I believe this is the first pressing of the Beatles classic 'Summer of Love' album. If not, I am sure an expert will tell me otherwise and I will pass it on.
The cover is clean and looks great but it has a 4cm tear at the opening at the rag doll, with slight wear to the 3 of the corners. The spine is solid but you can just make out the album name. It doesn't have the original red and white inner sleeve. The labels have no writing with just the usual spindle marks. The vinyl is in excellent condition, but I should point out a slight scratch on side one which gives 4 or 5 light repetitive clicks in 'With a Little Help from my Friends' and another 3 between that track and the next 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'. Apart from these the whole album is free from scratches, sticks, jumps, warps or distortion.
The insert looks near mint, never having been used.
If sold, I will post this as a 'Signed For' delivery.
