THE BEATLES SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND

This is the UK EMI press of 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' by The Beatles. The press has the original plain inner sleeve, the green insert and the Stereo Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. This press is a highly unusual crossover issue. One side has the scarce ONE BOX EMI label, but the other is the TWO BXO EMI label.

 

The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There are just a couple of the lightest wispy light marks. The labels are bold and clean. The black is solid, the silver text is immaculate and there is just the slightest spindle wear. 


The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and vibrant. There is superb clarity and separation throughout.


The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The colours are vivid and the whole of the sleeve is completely solid and flat. There is just a little wear to the bottom corner. The inside shines like new, it is in sensational bright and clean shape. The back cover is also exceptionally clean and bright. The spine is solid and the text is clear.
