Description
This is a MEGA-RARE 12" Thailand LP of THE BEATLES called "Special". It contains 12 songs from them including Helter Skelter and a number one hit single Hey Jude plus Back In The U.S.S.R., to name but a few, and a lot more!
The LP was manufactured and distributed ONLY in THAILAND by Metro Records back in the year 1968 with RED "CBS" LABEL. Vinyl comes with a single sleeve, Catalog Number MT-1025 stating on the back cover.
Matrix Numbers printed on Run-Off Grooves read as MT.1025-A and MT.1025-B respectively on Side 1 and Side 2. A RARE FIND INDEED !!!
You might not see the numbers clearly but when you get the item you will clearly see them. My ability to scan these photos is beyond retard...so please excuse me !!!
Please see song lists from both labels (in English) and details of the item by looking at pictures posted after the end of this descriptions.
The condition of sleeve is NEAR MINT - for its age with tiny damage at lower left & right corner, little ink stains at back. As for vinyl, it is visually graded as VERY GOOD condition with light scuffs on both sides of the record and long (not deep) marks on Side 1 and also a long mark on Side 2 BUT it does not effect playing. Thus, this LP is sold as it is.
However, when you put this vinyl on your turntable you might hear some ( or a lot of ) clicks and pops here and there which is NORMAL for oriental pressing record but it has nothing to do with the good music you are going to hear from the GREATEST BAND of ROCK & ROLL. Actually, cleaning vinyl before playing is highly recommended.
I have only ONE COPY of this great item so please grab it if you can because when it is gone...well...it's GONE for good. There is no way to get another one because it is VERY SCARCE and a long OUT OF PRINT item. YOU WILL NEVER FIND ONE WITH THE CONDITION LIKE THIS AGAIN, please believe me.
Because Thailand recently had floods caused by heavy rain outside Bangkok in most of the cities, it is more and more difficult to find records nowadays. I am sure that you will not see this same item for sale any time soon, in fact, not from me or other Thai sellers. Please keep this in mind for your consideration.
It is strongly advised that you must look at all pictures very carefully. Eventhough I try to grade each item according to the standards but I am no professional. If you have a question concerning this item then please email me before placing your bid.
Worldwide REGISTERED AIR-MAIL is US$20.00 for this item and kindly be informed that US shipping is NOT US$4.00 neither.
Combined shipping is welcome with an additional charge of US$9.00 per each LP. The package will be carefully packed and sent through Thailand Post Office in a cardboard LP mailer with bubbles wrap and proper padding for best protection during delivery. Of course, vinyl will be taken out of its sleeve to prevent spine splitting.
Please be noted that I am not responsible for rough handling and package lost on the way caused by Postman in your country nor transit time/customs clearance because I have no contral over these incidents!
Payment must be made only via PayPal within 3(three) working days after auction ended. If you have any question(s) then please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. I will try to reply within 24 hours.
Thank you and have a happy bidding.
