Description

Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks. Please read the entire listing to avoid any misunderstanding.

THE BEATLES – THE BEATLES – WHITE ALBUM – No: 0517119 – MONO – 4 PHOTOS & POSTER – VG

Early copy, complete with all inserts. Matrices are a bit hard to read, but I’m pretty sure this is correct:
XEX 709-1 GMM C
XEX 710-1 GP 1
XEX 711-1 OO 1
XEX 712-1 AD 2

Nice glossy vinyl. In natural light, only side 4 has visible surface marks (three) (maxed out on photos, happy to send via message please ask). Like any record of this age that has been played and enjoyed, other light marks can be seen under a bright light. Some sleeve lines and other scattered fine lines, but nothing really serious. VG grade may be a bit harsh for the records, but I always try not to over grade.

I had a complete play through before deciding to list it, Run-ins all have a very light crackle, but fine when the music plays. On side 1, it can still be heard for the first 5 seconds or so.
All four sides play very well with no sticks or jumps. There is an occasional crackle in track gaps and quieter moments, and a very occasional tick, but not repetitive, for me these don’t intrude or overpower. Particular attention to side 4 because of the light scuffs mentioned above. No repetitive noises except a soft double click in “Savoy Truffle” and a couple of ticks at the end of “Revolution No 9” as it goes into “Goodnight”.
Overall it’s enjoyable to listen to with good sound quality.

The photos are very clean, with no pinholes or sticker marks.
Poster also in excellent condition. A little age discoloured around the edges, but again, no pinholes or sticker marks. Lyrics side is a bit whiter than it appears in the photo.

The top-loading gatefold sleeve is VG. Rather age discoloured. A bit scuffed on corners and top opening edges. The wide spine is rather difficult to read, but it’s still in one piece with no tears or splits. Original black inners are in excellent condition.

Please look carefully at the photos as they are part of the description.
