THE BEATLES, THE NUMBER ONES, ORIG AUSTRALIAN ONLY PARLOPHONE LP & EP, 1983, TOP
The Beatles – The Number OnesThe Number Ones is a compilation album of hits by The Beatles released in 1983 by EMI on the Parlophone Record label in Australia (PLAY-1024). Released on both LP and cassette, it is an alternative version of the album titled 20 Greatest Hits in most of the world. Due to timing problems, EMI included a three-track bonus EP (A-980), with the 20-track LP. The cassette version contains all 23 tracks as cassettes do not have the length limitations which LPs have.
LP Side One: I Want To Hold Your Hand; I Saw Her Standing There; Can't Buy Me Love; A Hard Day's Night; I Should Have Known Better; Ticket To Ride; Help; We Can Work It Out; Nowhere Man; Yellow Submarine; Penny Lane.
LP Side Two: All You Need Is Love; Hello Goodbye; Lady Madonna; Hey Jude; Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da; Get Back; The Ballad Of John And Yoko; Something; Let It Be.
EP Side One: Love Me Do.
EP Side Two: I Feel Fine; Rock 'n' Roll Music.
The album is on Parlophone Records, LP - PLAY-1024 / EP - A-980. LP matrix side one: PLAY 1024 A (written). LP matrix side two: PLAY 1024 B (written). Single matrix side one: A 980 A (written). Single matrix side two: A 980 B (written).
Released in 1983. Australian pressing. Stereo.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details. 526 (GS 6.6.6 (526))
