A SIGNIFICANTLY LOW NUMBERED, **0000286** 1968 MONO BEATLES WHITE ALBUM FIRST ISSUE COMPLETE.

  Considered to be one of most Influential and Iconic Albums of the 20th Century, this is an original 1968 UK Apple Records mono, two vinyl LP Set for The Beatles 1968 White Album Release, entitled ‘The BEATLES’.

  This is a respectable example, and has a top opening, Gate-fold Sleeve with the low No.0000286, and with, two original UK first issue mono LP's, four original full Colour glossy photographs – one of each Beatles plus a photograph spacer, an original Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, two original 1968 Black inner record bags. The set is housed within its original First Issue, Fully Laminated top opening low numbered, No.0000286, Gate-fold Sleeve.

  LP Description/Condition:

  The two First Issue stereo Vinyl LP's are on the traditional Dark Green Apple label, all with the ‘Sold in UK label text, with ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text to all four record labels.

  All four record labels in Excellent condition, clean and undamaged record labels with vivid Black Print, and showing several play signs around the centre spindle holes on each label.

LP 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1, & Side 2, XEX 710-1. LP 1, Side 1 stampers, 4 G H, & Side 2, 3 M R.

  LP 2, Side 3 matrix YEX 711-1, & Side 4, YEX 712-1. LP 2, Side 3 stampers, 1 H, & Side 4, 1 G R.

    Sides 1 & 2 of the vinyl LP's grade as Excellent Minus condition, clean surfaces to both sides showing a few surface hairlines, there are no deep scratches visible. Both LP's play through with a great sound quality and with only light background crackle more noticeable on quieter tracks, otherwise a very nice sound from these early LP's.

Sides 3 & 4 of the vinyl LP's grade as Very Good condition, clean surfaces to both sides showing a few surface hairline scratches, there are no deep scratches visible, only a couple of marks that sound and cause light hiss for a short duration. Both LP's play through with a nice sound quality and with some light background crackle more noticeable on quieter tracks, otherwise a very nice sound from these early LP's.

Each LP come in their original Matt  Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in Good condition, the bags do have some light inevitable creasing and small tears, and one of the bags is completely split down one seam.

  And are housed in their Very Good Garrod and Lofthouse Gate-fold Sleeve. This first issue sleeve is Top Opening and has a very low number of 0000286 printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed and printed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal Black and White Images of each of Beatles, together with the song track listing.

  The front panel of this sleeve has a few marks and light age toning, the very low number of 0000286 is clear with the exception of a small mark/dig on the third zero.

  The inner gate-fold centre of the sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition and shows age toning.

  The spine edge shows age toning and the reverse panel of the sleeve also shows light age toning and a stain at the top edge.

  There are Four original 1968 Full Rich and Deep Glossy Colour Photographs – one of each Beatles plus photograph spacer and are all in Excellent condition, NO pin holes, NO tears.

  And includes its original 1968, Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric/Picture Poster printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is in Excellent condition, no tears  just light creases.
