Description
THE BEATLES The Beatles [White Album]
1968 UK first issue 30-track MONO double vinyl LP with 'Sold In UK' label text, fully laminated & embossed top-opening Garrod & Lofthouse individually numbered gatefold picture sleeve, including fold-out lyric/picture poster and the four individual band member picture portrait inserts.
There are some signs of storage apparent, with some ringwear, some scuffing on the back & edges, and a little creasing on the laminate, mainly on the front. Cover has yellowed, due to age, but still acceptable for its 44 years.
The photo inserts are as new!! The poster unfortunately whilst still intact has some splits and marks. Lyrics on this are still readable, poster damage is only noticeable when unfolded, again mainly age and usage. There are 2 black inners, 1 of which is the original the other being a replacement - it is black outside, white inside with no centre hole.
The vinyl discs within boast clean labels and with just a few light surface marks to show for its forty four years. The spindles show no signs of excessive usage.
The vinyl has been played and is smooth from start to end, no jumps or skips. On quieter numbers there is very faint crackle, but in no way does it affect the overall play which is very good. Some faint marks but again play is not affected.
