THE BEATLES - TWIST AND SHOUT Canada Vinyl, Purple Label (1978) ST 6054 LP
I bought this for my personal collection circa 1980. This is the Canadian version reissued in 1978 with the Purple Capitol Records labels. I continuously stored this with a plastic outer cover and it was unplayed by me until now when I checked it for condition.
I rate the cover jacket as Very Good +. It is solid, with just a couple of minor creases. There is also a small "scraped" area on the rear bottom left. (see photos)
The LP is also in Very Good + condition. There are a number of surface streaks and a couple of "dot" blemishes. I played the complete album and there are no skips and it plays fine. There are a few static clicks/ticks in the silence between tracks. I couldn't notice anything during the songs. I originally bought this solely to add to my collection and did not play it. I had standard US versions (such as "Introducing The Beatles" to listen to these tracks back in the day when desired.
I will place the vinyl in a new clear inner sleeve and include the original paper sleeve also when shipping.
Please see the photos. I am not a professional grader. I am using my best judgement per the Goldmine grading standards.
I will take extra care with packing and shipment. I will put new plastic sleeves on the outer cover and LP and will pack the LP outside of the jacket to avoid any possible seam damage during shipment. I will pack securely and ship in a Whiplash LP mailer.
