Description
This single does not feature the famous Beatles from Liverpool, but is an interesting curiosity for Beatle fans and completists nonetheless. Reportedly the work of Philadelphia radio personality Jerry Blavat, the A-side is a charming doo-wop recording and the flip, "For Yon Tunas Only" (credited to "Jerry Blabber") is four minutes of stream-of-consciousness radio rap. The label credits are almost entirely tongue-in-cheek. "The Girl I love" credited to writers J. Lemmon and J. Strong and "For Yon Tunas Only" credited to A. B. Klein. A note on the A-side reads "A Miracle Production (If it sells, it's a Miracle!)," while a similar note on the B-side reads "A Toilet Production--Please Flush After Playing." Curiosity? Definitely. Joke? Probably. Hoax? Perhaps.
The vinyl is VG+ and the record has only been played a couple of times. The generic sleeve is VG and shows some yellowing. There are no seam splits.
